"I woke up, the silky sheets tangled around my body.   

My heart pounding.  My body cold.  The golden rays 

of the sun poured through my window illuminating 

my empty room.  I looked around the room, but no 

where was she to be found.  Of course she wasn’t there. 

Why would she be?  I knew it all along.  The two of us 

in that dream, it was too good to be true.  In the end, 

we would never be; we would never exist together.   

The pain in my heart will go on for as long as she is there."
